Entergy Honors Tempest Energy for Excellence in 2024 Storm Restoration Efforts
We are thrilled to share that Tempest Energy has been recognized by Entergy with the 2024 Premier Supplier Storm Response Award. This prestigious honor underscores our commitment to safety, innovation, and diversity in storm restoration, as highlighted in a recent article by T&D World. Our team deployed 877 full-time workers and logged over 81,000 hours during storm restoration efforts across Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas in 2023—without a single safety or environmental incident.
Entergy’s vice president of incident response, Louie Dabdoub, praised Tempest Energy’s technological leadership, stating,
“The 81,000 hours Tempest Energy worked on our infrastructure and other facilities in 2023 is also a testament to its commitment to safety.”

This app has been a key factor in streamlining our operations and supporting Entergy’s incident response with greater efficiency. Our innovative tools, combined with our commitment to safety, have made a significant impact on restoration efforts.
Tempest Energy’s dedication to diversity also played a major role in receiving this award.
“Fifteen percent of Tempest Energy’s subcontractors, or trade allies, are premier providers from woman-owned and small businesses,”
noted Entergy during the awards ceremony.
Reflecting on this honor, our CEO Bill Cain expressed gratitude, saying,
“The award validates our team’s and trade allies’ effort to develop truly innovative tools, as well as their own skills, to perform at the highest level.”
